My Feelings for the Poor

             In my own life one filling I have with regards to the poor is .
             I am lucky to have this kind of life that was given to me by God through my parents. I pity them because they don't get to eat even three times a day. For sure they don't get their basic needs like shelter, clothing and other necessities in life. I pity those street children and most specially the old ones who are already helpless.

             Most likely majority of my fellow schoolmates do understand what is going on around them. They know that beggars in the street have their own reasons why they suffer from that kind of life. It maybe because they just let it happen to them. They maybe careless for their future, or could be that they didn't want that to happen but there is nothing they could do. But surely there are some students who do not care at all. They may think that those poor people deserve to be like that because they asked for it. And some are those who look at them like a pest that should be driven away from their sight. Some just have no idea of what's into this people for as long as they are not like that, these people are those who are egocentric.
             3. In my stay here in DLSU- CSB, I can see myself invited by the Lord to grow in preference for the poor especially in .
             First, God wants me to understand the situation. He wants me to realize how lucky am I to be in a wonderful life I am into right now, then if I have appreciated it already I might as well can help in my own little ways. I can share them what I have. For example: participating in giving charities to the needy like clothes, foods etc. Instead of giving coins to the street children I could have some food and share it with them. And I could share them about the word of God, though I know little, I can still testify by means of the air we breath is free for all of us and that life is still important and was given to us by God with a purpose.
