English and You

In high school, English was one of the least important classes. Everything was focused on math, math and more math.              This English class will help us students in many ways. We will not only use this information in college, but hopefully it will stick with us for the rest of our lives. When we decide to go for a job interview, how we present ourselves through verbal communication is very important. People judge others by the way they speak.              Learning how to compose papers will also be very helpful now and in the future. In college, we will be writing countless papers. Learning how to compose a paper will make the process a little easier. Now students can focus on the subject instead of wondering if they are using proper grammar; it will just be second nature to them.
Expanding our vocabulary is another way this class will be useful to students in the future. Having a limited vocabulary hinders people from being able to fully express themselves. By taking this class, students will be exposed to new vocabulary that will enhance their ability to communicate with others.
English is one of the most important classes students will take in the course of their college career. English will prepare students for the real world. They will be prepared for the job market and life in general. Being able to express yourself through verbal communication thoroughly and correctly is necessary in this judgmental world.
