SWOT Analysis.
Strengths:.
• Perception. Robin Hood and the Merrymen are perceived by the farmers and townspeople to be a righteous and good organization, that works towards bringing about financial equality between the rich and the poor.
• The commitment of the members of the organization. The individuals who join Robin Hood and the Merrymen do so because they believe in the mission and goals of the organization.
• The size of the organization. Many individuals want to join the organization which will, in turn, increase its size.
Weaknesses:.
• The size of the organization. The Merrymen have grown so large that they have outgrown their current space and resources.
• Resistance of the organization's members to change. The Lieutenants and some of the lower ranked Merrymen are not flexible or adaptable to a change in the organization's mission and/or goals.
• Inability of the organization to be flexible and adaptable to changes in its current business environment. Rich travelers are changing their travel routes, yet the Merrymen have done nothing to address their dwindling supply of potential victims.
• Decline in discipline and vigilance among the Merrymen. With more down time and fewer victims, the Merrymen have more free time on their hands, with less things to occupy them.
