Social and Moral Equality between Men and Women.
Gender equality is the measurable equal representation of women and men. Gender equality does not imply that women and men are the same, but that they have equal value and should be accorded equal treatment. Wollstonecraft's work also greatly influenced the leadership that was being experienced in most societies. According to the dictionary, a society can be defined as a group of individuals who are related to each other through some social groupings or persistent relationships sharing the same cultural expectations, geographical locations and political authority. In order to enhance peace, stability and order in any society, there must be a form of leadership and government to help maintain an orderly and peaceful society. According to Mary, the type of leadership in a society in will determine the level of democracy in a society.
Her scholarly and philosophical work greatly influenced what was to be now seen as the massive involvement of women and children in various education systems. One of the aftermaths of her sociology work was that many women and children in Britain enrolled for various educational programs. Wollstonecraft's work also changed and transformed the general perception of women in the society. Women were regarded as sexual objects, and that their roles were confined to household chores and duties. Through her literary work, Wollstonecraft tried to portray the state of the woman in the society. She suggested that, women have equal rights to men and should be treated equally as their fellow men counterparts.
Democracy.
In her scholarly and literary work, Wollstonecraft advocated for a democratic form of government that reflected the will of the citizens. She pointed out that, democracy can only be achieved if people are given the power and authority to elect their leaders through a democratic process. In her vindications titled "A Vindication of the Rights of Men,"" Mary Wollstonecraft advocated for a republicanism form of governance as opposed to an autocratic aristocracy form of governance.
