I sometimes would call it my "Dream Bra" because it goes with every outfit. Lola Adebayo participated in an interview I conducted with her giving her review of this magnificent bra. First I asked her why she likes Victoria Secret Bras and what makes her keep going back to buy more. She replied that she loves how Victoria Secret Bras always boosts her breast. She also enjoys how their bras continue to have a very distinctive yet unique look with beautiful colors. Their straps are different than any other regular bra. She adds "I would not buy any other bra from nowhere but Victoria secrets" (Adebayo). This now established trust on the products as "prized possessions.".
In order to explain this behavior of "prized possessions", Ian A. Cook performed a study in which he discovered how advertisements presenting logic through the use of imagery or text, does modify behavior without requiring conscious recognition of a message (Cook). "Victoria Secret Dream Angels Forever Commercial" exemplifies Cook's theory. In this advertisement, Dreams Angels Forever commercial shows supermodels Adriana Lima, Chanel Iman, Erin Heatherton, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge and Candice Swanepoel presenting the new push up bra's, prancing around wearing a white feather custom attached to their bra that made them appear as angles (Dream Angels Forever). Not to mention, they also played the song, "Angel" sung by music icon Akon. One of the lyrics played was, "I am looking at an angel that makes the whole place glowing". This lyric interrelated to the idea of the commercial because the models had such a beautiful bright glow and many women can make their own choices in shifts in tastes if they wouldn't just settle for an ordinary but instead extraordinary. This commercial portrays the idea that, Victoria's Secret bras are the perfect thing to have in order to create a good connection to men.
