Motivation, Strength and Weakness

            This SOS Science of Survival class was more than just a class in my opinion, it was great experience. This class did not only teach me certain things but gave me a chance to explore and experience things I would have never had the chance to do before. It also gave me the chance to acknowledge my strengths and weaknesses with the help of others and the instructor. I believe that life is a learning experience and being able to recognize my own strengths and weaknesses can help me become better individuals. The strength and weakness that were shown to me during this class are being a good team player and the lack of motivation that I posses.
             Throughout this course my strength was revealed mostly before and during the three day trip. Everyone in my group had their own responsibility that each person in the group depended on. We were all co-operative and experienced no problems. Being a good team player helped me multiple times through out this course. The ones that stood out most to me as I stated before were during the three day camp trip, We were all organized and helped each other out equally because of this our team and the trip went very smoothly and was more enjoyable. I knew exactly what my task and responsibilities were. My group and I all participate to get the task done which made it a lot easier. Another example of how my strength helped me through out the course was preparing for the trip I made sure I new what I was bringing how much of it we needed. My group and I also communicated days we didn't have class so were positive that we were organized. Even though everyone had a individual task we always worked as a team, ensuring that everyone was successful at completing individual tasks for example the cooking. Initially everyone was suppose to cook only what they wanted to eat but then we realized that making one big supper as a team made more sense. We all agreed on what it was we were going to eat and executed it saving more time.
