This are the reason why the researchers have chosen to focus on studying the causes of this unequal progress within the City of Muntinlupa, its implication to the Local Government Unit's development as a whole, and provide solutions on how equal development in the City can be obtained. .
Statement of the Problem.
Muntinlupa city is considered as one of the highly urbanized area in the Philippines. Having loads of malls to choose from, preferred topographic point of investors, commercial establishments and business firms located everywhere, it is one of the cities in the Philippines to maintain stability. Unfortunately, having been called the "Emerald City of the Philippines" because of its vast induztrialisation, there are some flaws which are found by the researchers. One of which is the unequal development of the North and Southern part of Muntinlupa City which we will be focusing on. The imbalance of the two areas creates unequality in the distribution of economic, money and power resources particularly the Northern part of the city is garnering more establishments, firms and investors rather than the Southernmost part of Muntinlupa which tends to be less progressive. The researches would like to justify the real theorem behind its utterly peculiar growth of urbanization since Muntinlupa is known to be a great city filled with a population of less than 400,000 people and is popular for extravagant residences and suits. .
Relevance.
The importance of this study is that the researchers aim to determine how there could be equal development since the Northwest area is more urbanized than the South. By conducting a research regarding this field, the researchers will be able to analyze the possible problems that make Northwestern Muntinlupa more established. The researches will focus on the main problem and come up with a solution that will strengthen the development and its equality between the two areas.
