Terrorism at the Boston Marathon

Thirty minutes had passed and I was standing onto of the railings so that I could see my uncle when he was coming up the hill, finally he was in sight! I yelled to my family that he was coming and we all were screaming, "Uncle Tedo! Over here!" He quickly realized that it was us and ran over gave us all hugs and someone took a picture of all of him and us. He only had about a mile to go so he kept going and we said we would meet him at the finish line once we saw our neighbor go by. My neighbor was going to be another hour or two so we decided to go get something to eat and check out Fenway Park. .
We ate lunch at Fenway and then my little brother wanted to go to the huge gift shop in Fenway Park. My boyfriend and I had been walking around and then I looked up at one of the TV's in the shop and it said, "Two explosions had gone off at the finish line of the Boston Marathon." I turned over to my boyfriend and I said, "Did you just read the same thing I did"? We both were really confused, so were a lot of other people. More and more people were coming up to look at the TV and we all soon realized that something serious was happening. I went and found my parents and told them I think there was just explosions at the finish line. My mom said, "what do you mean there was an explosion"? My dad had said well maybe its just an electrical explosion or something. My mom got onto her phone and tried to call my neighbors that we were going to meet up with but none of her calls were going through. This is when we all started to sort of freak out. We then decided to walk out to the street to try and figure out what was going on. The second we got outside all I could hear was sirens, horns, and people crying. This is when I really started to freak out I knew something was up I could feel my heart beating so fast, we had gone up to a police officer to ask what was going on and they just said, "stay calm, but there was two explosions at the finish line and many people are injured.
