I have been through so many dark, traumatizing, and depressing situations in my life at my age of fourteen. Trying to live the perfect well manicured life in New Canaan the so called picture-perfect place, and being on that horrible swim team was the start of it. My family was part of it also, I never really knew my father but I did have a step dad who really didn't care about what I did, my closest sister move away to college, my step sister and I always fought, and my mother who was always working was never home. But nothing could ever compare to the thing that ruined my life, falling in love with a guy over the internet, and discovering things that change me for the worst. But through it all the most important people in my life was there with me; My mother, my sister Abby, and Mark.
My mother is very proper, demanding, and is all about her business, even though she was never there to show it, she always showed how much she loved us, which is why I looked up to her so much, and is why she is one of the most important people in my life because of the role she played during my trials and tribulations. She may have not been there while I was talking to the guy over the Internet, but she was there the night I went down to his hotel room since he came out to see me while I was on a trip with my swim team. The night she banged on his door after he had molested me, and how she felt really showed how protective she was over me and how much she cared about me. Also after the event at the hotel she was still by my side no matter what, whenever I needed help she was there; she put me in my counseling, she gave me advice when it came to the school rumors, and she stopped at nothing to make sure the guy from the internet got what he deserved, and with all of that she still managed to teach me a lesson and made me learn from my mistakes.
Abby my older sister is also one of the most important people in my life because of the bond we shared.
