Becoming a Civil Engineer

That would be the type of growth mindset for an Engineer.
An engineer is an idealist creator as well as a utopian. As an engineer we create and design communities and help solve problems for them. A real engineer wrote Citizen Engineer and as you can see even an engineer can be an author. According to Citizen Engineer "An engineer sees beauty in new ideas, novel approaches, and new ways to tame complexity. Engineers are stubborn, meticulous, critical bunch, unforgiving of shoddy work and half-baked theories, abhorrent of conventional wisdom, but always eager to learn, to try, to push the limits, and to create something new" (pg 6). In other words an engineer does not give up on the work one is put to do. As the book Citizen Engineer says how an engineer is stubborn, meticulous, and eager to learn those are not so much as skills but its like one has to be willing to prove a point and stand up to the choice even though one can be wrong. These are not skills but it is how an engineer has to be in order to be successful because one has an idea in their head and is trying to prove a point. If another engineer shows how the other is wrong and why then that's how it all come to an agreement. Being unforgiving of shoddy work and half-baked theories is the mindset an engineer has but also eager to learn which in this case lead towards a growth mindset. An engineer does not just stop at a failure or as said a half-baked theory because one is eager to know what went wrong or why it was wrong and what they can do to change their way of thinking. Since an engineer is considered an idealist creator the work one does has to close to perfection. There cannot be any room for error whatsoever. This ends up leading towards the intelligence one really needs or has to get to with becoming an engineer. .
Being an engineer is a pretty complex job needing intelligence of many. Like knowing many aspects of different types of engineers and sometimes-even business are the two major ones.
