The Best Surprise Ever

As soon as I got home, I went straight to the bathroom. I anxiously waited for the result to appear. When they did, I was disappointed. It was negative. I still felt there was possibility that it could have been a false negative, so I waited two weeks and made an appointment with my doctor to get some blood tests done. .
I went to the doctor and once again went through the list of symptoms I had and by now I had missed 2 months without a menses. The doctor smiled at me and reassured me I most likely was expecting. We did the blood tests and I made an appointment to come back to get the results. That week was the longest week of my life. I still hadn't told my fiancé anything about my suspicions because I wanted to be 100% sure before I broke the news to him. Finally, a week passed and I went to see my doctor. I was so excited thinking about how far along I probably was and how I would tell my fiancé. When the doctor walked in, I knew she didn't have good news to tell me. She apologized for leading me on and said the tests came back negative. She told me my symptoms were probably due to the stress I had been under starting a new job and not being able to eat. As disappointed as I was, I felt some relief because I thought maybe it wasn't my time or maybe I am just not ready.
I went along with my life, until one night I felt fluttering in my lower abdomen. For the first few nights I thought it was just gas, even thought I had never felt that before. I started researching online what the flutters could be, most of the articles said it's most likely gas. Then, I stumbled upon an article in a parenthood website where it said that's what it feels like when your baby moves around in the early stages of pregnancy. Again, the thought entered my head that I could be pregnant. In the comments to that article I found a comment from a mom who said she had found out she was expecting after having all test come out negative and found out by getting an ultrasound.
