Pushing Yourself Too Hard

As they say, "Simplicity is Beauty", yet other people they cannot accept their physical appearance. They were not contented because they felt like they were not enough for someone they loved. I experienced this, I read some of the websites that a product will burn your fat and reduce your belly in just one week. I tried it, so I finished taking all those supplements, but nothing happened. I bought it because I believe that I will lose pounds in just one week. I learned from my mistake. I have a friend who bought some facial wash which claimed to remove pimples on the face but instead of removing all the pimples, they got worse. He told me that he will never buy that product again and he will not trust TV commercials again. He was so upset and disappointed with what happened. He trusted the product to get rid of the pimples, but instead of getting rid of them, they got worse.
Most girls they do not want to become fat. Some of them do not eat too much, some of them are at the gym working out, and there's some that they hurt themselves if someone call them fat. I had a girlfriend, and she told me that every time she felt fat she cut her legs with the blade. She was emotional when someone criticize her, so she started to dislike herself. I was telling her that she wasn't supposed to do that kind of thing. She told me that she does not want to be fat. This one of the example of the effects of pop culture in our society. I was so concerned about her. I told her that she should accept herself, and I told her that she wasn't even fat. I asked her why she wanted to become skinnier, it didn't make any sense, and she's just hurting herself. She starved herself every time she felt fat and ugly. Often, this is the effect when people see sexy women and men with big muscles in billboard ads, magazines, and Internet or TV commercials; they start to dislikes themselves and want to become like them so that people will like them.
