Lord of The Flies

During September and the beginning of October I read the Lord of the Flies. In the Lord of the Flies I was on and off about enjoying it. At first I thought it was boring and I didn't understand it. After a while, I understood what the author was trying to say and the point he was trying to make. I also became interested when the group started to break apart. .
I think the Lord of the Flies is exactly what will happen if a group of boys were deserted on an island. Most boys think they're the boss and they would want to survive by killing someone, as long as it made them live they won't care in a situation like that. I think I have a mix of everyone, but not to the extent of where I would kill someone. I think I'm like Piggy because I think before act and I think of both the positive and negative effect it will have. I think I am naturally good like Simon because I think most people have a natural goodness. I would be mad at people, like Jack, but as I said earlier I would never kill someone.
I think girls would have acted very differently. At first they wouldn't want to kill a pig but then someone will point out that they would have to in order to survive. Also they wouldn't pick one leader. They would have different people in charge of different things and they would talk or scream their problems out. With a group of adults I think depends on the type of adult they are. Also, they would know better things to do since they are older and have had more problems then kids who are 12 years old.
I think that William Golding is trying to show the people how much this world has to improve. He tries to tell us that we have a lot of learning to do and we can't live life freely. We have to follow and obey certain laws. The metaphor of the boys is to represent everyone in society without rules. Some human nature will become wild and become uncivilized, including killing .
Lord of the Flies made me think about human behavior a little more than what I already knew about it.
