Hearing God

HEARING GOD"S MUSIC "Let he who has ears to hear, use them." It is not enough that we have ears to hear, but that we use our ears to listen, to comprehend, and to learn from our surroundings. Some people fail to realize the truth, or ignore it altogether. By that I mean that there are people who go to church all of their lives, yet never seem to grasp the power of the words that they hear, and the power of the Lord God almighty. His works are all around us, but it's not enough to see it, but to believe it. It's not enough to hear it, but to receive it. It is necessary therefore, for one to open his mind to the words of God, and to listen and respond willingly to his calling, for he calls us all, and gives us all various tasks in life. If you merely hear but do not truly listen, then you are foolish, for it is important to hear God's music in your life, to want to do his will, and to do it without question of the things that are ahead. Where he sends you, go without further thought, what he tells you obey. Listen to what is around you, take it all in, and know that God is ever-present, ever-living, and all-powerful in strength and in truth. The word of God is a powerful thing, the music of God is his calling to you, and the plans that he has for your life. It shall be a beautiful song if you so dare to let it be. How long has it been since you let God have you? How long has it been since you let God take full control of your life? Not partial, but true, honest-to-goodness control of your life? If you were to let God lead, I"m sure that you would find yourself to be much better off in the long run. If God throws seeds your way, what is the result? If he shows you the path that he has laid down for your life, do you travel it, or turn astray? .
Lucado brings up various points such as these, hoping to help the reader benefit from his words. However if you are like me, you find yourself thinking, "Could he possibly talk .
