Of Mice and Men

            This book is about two charactors George and Lennie. They are very good friends but Lennie is a little slow and not very bright and George takes care of him. They had to run away from their old city Weed because Lennie frightened a girl which called the police on him so they had to run away. Now they are at a ranch trying to make enough so they can buy their own piece of land and make their own farm and live by themselves. They have a dream of havin their own small piece of land with a lot of rabbits and an alfafalfa patch and carrot and chickens. Lennie wants rabbits because he loves to pet soft things. At the ranch they have problems because people pick on Lennie and the wife of the owners son Curley is extremely flirtatious. She was flirting with lennie and lennie started to pet her hair because it was soft but then he got extremely rough with her and she got scared of him and started screaming which scared Lennie because Lennie knew if he messed up this time George would be very mad and they wouldnt be able to get their dream piece of land. So to shut her up Lennie who is a extremely strong man throw her to the ground breaking her neck which kills her. The dead body is later found and the other people at the ranch including hunt down Lennie to kill him and georoge goes with them. George know where Lennie is and he goes there before the other gets the other and shoots him in the back of his head and kills him. .
