Mysticism

There are religions that spread all over .
the world along with some religions that consist of a few people that follow of the word of their god. People, throughout history, have tried to grab on to other forms of religions and join them with others to try to make sense of the world around them. One aspect of almost all religions around the world, is that the people who are devoted and follow closely the words of their chosen religion, often times have world altering visions or glimpses shown to them by their so called "god". The question is, however, if it is not merely a single god allowing people to gain further insight to who they are and for what purpose they exist, but for what reasons that this phenomena does happen.
There are four basic criteria that are commonly associated with the topic of Mysticism. The first aspect of this broad range of religion based thinking is called Ineffability. This term is best defined as a feeling with no spoken meaning. A person that has felt an emotion or feeling that another person has not, can not tell that person who hasn't experienced it for himself, what the feeling feels like. It is something that is merely held within the person who is experiencing it, but doesn't say anything about how he feels, because he knows for himself what he is experiencing and it can not be shared. .
Think of a person in love. If one has loved before, then they know from personal insight what another person in love in feeling when they say that they truly are in love. If one has not experienced love for him, or hasn't had the opportunity to love, then the idea of love is unimaginable to them. For this reason is it that people do stupid things when they are in love because we couldn't understand why they would do such an act for another since not feeling it oneself. .
Again, in terms of the show Trek, take "Data" for example. His idea of what music is, would be completely different from what any educated human involved in the musical art would consider music.
