First Day of School

It was my oldest daughter, Brianna, first time ever going to school. One has never experience a thrill until one sees their first child off to school. Their little angle all dressed up and ready to go to school. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I had put two ponytails in her hair. She had this cute Mickey Mouse outfit on, and she was all ready to go. When I drop my daughter off, she really was a vision of an angle, halo and all (I swear to this). The images that run thru one=s head are of; cutting, gluing, painting, and taken naps. I think somewhere along the line my little girl forgot to have somebody read her the rulebook about starting school.
I am lying on the couch relaxing (kept in mind one child is gone?). When the ringing of the phone brings me back into reality. I am thinking who can this be at this time of the day. Lo and behold it is the headstart calling I about Brianna. It seems my little angle had turned into a tasima devil. .
When I go for my parent teacher=s conference, I found out this entire little horror story about my little angle. Brainna had been crying all day in class it seems she had figured out if she cried they would hold her. She was not following the class rules. All kind of manner that she had been taught was left at the house when she boards the bus. She even slap the bus driver!.
I tried everything in the book to turn my little Tasmania devil back into an angle; spanking, timeout, even no candy. I think when they wrote the child book on behavior. They did not have my child in mine. The Saddest part of the story was Brianna teacher was a first time (just out of college) teacher. My little angel/Tasmania devil sent that teacher into early retirement.
At the time of this writing my little Tasmania devil was slowly transformed back into an angle again. Brianna is a happy fourth grader making As and Bs in school. But every now and then that little Tasmania devil pops back up.
