It has been over two decades since The United States of America has had a military draft. The big question that everyone keeps on asking is whether or not women should participate in the draft. I strongly believe that women should not take part in the draft. I have taken surveys, and I have facts that will prove you why women should not be included into the military draft. There are many reasons such as; family, pregnancy and distraction.
Women are usually known as the supporting base line of every family. They are known as the soul providers of taking care of the family. Some of us would like to call them mom. If we were to send women to war involuntary, the majority of them statistically would be found to be young mothers. What would the children of these mothers do? Would they be brought up the same, by a stranger or anyone else who was not the mother? That is definitely a factor that we the people must look into. It is believed that children or usually traumatized for life, due to the fact that they were not raised by their mother.
A survey was conducted on my behalf, asking whether or not women should part take in the draft. A majority of 60% said that they should not. The average reason why this 60% said no was because the fact that women bare children. Pregnancy is definitely an issue on why women should excluded from the draft. It has been studied that women are also the soul providers of keeping the population at its peek. Women truly have an effect on the stability of the population. If women were to go to war and under go many casualties, the population would indeed drop enormously.
Psychological studies show that males can be easily tempted and distracted to fraternize with women, especially during time of war. This study shows that males would not concentrate clearly on the mission due to the presence of females. In this case the missions would not be accomplished and the military would suffer tremendous lost on the battlefield.
