Euthanasia

What's the hardest thing that you have ever had to decide? Maybe a choice between two cars that you might be purchasing, or whether or not to cut your hair. For some people, a decision like that would not even compare to having to decide whether or not to cut off a loved ones life-support. And with that said I would like to give you my opinion about euthanasia. .
Euthanasia . What is it? Its definition goes as follows - The deliberate putting to death painlessly of a person suffering from an incurable disease, also called mercy killing. Who would want this done to them? Maybe somebody who had no chance of a productive life. Karen Ann Quinlan is one person who was taken off life-support. She never died, but lived in a coma for the rest of her life. The rest of her life turned out to be twenty years. Even then, when not on any respirator, would you want to live like that? Probably not. With no chance in the world of ever coming out of a coma. You would be living a fake life. Would anybody with some dignity like to have to live off something and not do anything for himself or herself? In this aspect I think that euthanasia would be considered all right. .
The fact is that there is no specific boundary where euthanasia is considered acceptable. It is different in each and every case. It can be up to either the family or the person wanting to die. If that person is suffering extreme pain and wants to die is it considered right? Would you be able to live with yourself for "pulling the plug" on a loved one? These are questions one should ask oneself before they even consider what they want for their family, or even themselves. .
I think that euthanasia would be only right and just if the person who was dying said that he/she wanted it done themselves or a will of some sort. The family could decide, BUT would you want to burden them with that decision? It could be a huge impact on their lives knowing that they could have kept you alive.
