If this is human life indeed living inside of a pregnant mother, then the U.S. Supreme Court has given people that right. Abortion puts a price tag on the baby's life before it even has a chance to enter this world. Only in Hitler and Stalin's times has such a value been placed on an individual human life as its price for its continued existence.
What does it mean to be Pro-life? People that defend the Pro-life view believe that all humans, including the unborn, have a basic right to live. They believe it is morally wrong to have abortion clinics because of the violence that goes on inside. They believe the government should not fund abortions. Nellie Gray has stated "it is equally as heinous intentionally to kill a human being in existence at fertilization than to kill a larger pre-born child." A human life is a human life, no questions asked. Pro-life people view abortion as murder. President Bush has said "through sonograms and other technology, we can clearly see that unborn children are members of the human family as well. They reflect our image, and they are created in our own image.".
