The answer to this question is still unclear. There are major religions in the world, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Shintoism are some examples and if you would observe each religions teachings you can conclude that there is nothing evil about each of their practices and beliefs, some philisophers even believe that each of the religions teachings are all the same but are just interpreted differently. .
But still there are other religions in the world, though not as widespread as the other major religions that have their own way of interpretation of their doctrines and rituals. Some of these small religions are called by others "cults" because of their unbelievable rituals that even sometimes involve human sacrifice. Of course right then and there we may conclude that that particular religion is evil but that is because we are raised believing in that specific idea "inflicting death on your neighbor is evil" but in the various remote countries where such rituals are made, they are raised differently. These people have grown up believing that such "brutal" rituals are already part of their lives, that what they are doing is not something evil but something they must do to give praise to our God so that He will shower them with blessings. Knowing this, I think that in these case what they are doing is not entirely evil since even though they are unconsciously doing something evil their motive isn't. It is up to the person's analyzation and personal opinion to conclude if such religions aren't good.
The answer to the question may be Yes or No for these reasons. First, I still don't know all the religions and their doctrines. Second, the meaning of evil for us is entirely based in our moral beliefs as Christians so for others" religions it may not be evil. I believe that if answering a question that is so broad and wide as this it is up to the person's personal opinion.
