Lord of the FLies

In The Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, he constantly describes symbolically the falling apart of a civilized society. Described within the story of a group of young boys working to survive alone on an abandoned island are views on the evil and good of man. Man has been thought to be in essence good and that evil occurs because something is wrong with them or man uses power to manipulate people, along with the belief that both good and evil exist in each individual.
Ralph as well as Piggy believes that man is essentially decent and that evil happens when something is not right with people. An individual is for all intents and purposes well mannered and good, but can be changed when something within the person is wrong. In the beginning of the novel all the Rodger porously missed when throwing small rocks at one of the younger boys since he still has the impression that it is wrong. Though by the end of the book he pushes a boulder onto piggy, ending in murder since the whole notion of good verse evil is gone from his mind. Furthermore, when Piggy's glasses are stolen he supposes he can just go and ask Jack and his followers for them back, yet he is badly mistaken since something is no longer just with them.
Jack is a primitive human being who uses authority over others and assumes that forces more powerful than he must be appeared though ceremony and sacrifices. Jacks moral behavior that he left society with is no longer with him, however it is undeniably replaced with his primitive self. While on a hunt Jake stops to smell along with touch the feces of a pig, he only want to hunt and have an enjoyable time rather then worry about being rescued, and he dances around the fire at his feast. Jake also sacrifice, or rather leaves behind the head of a pig they have slaughtered for the beast. .
There is one certain character in this novel that is different from the rest of the boys, an individual that is intelligent in addition to an important symbol.
