Politics Today

Filipinos are liable to engage in their everyday toil. I, being a college student, am more gripped on school works chasing on deadlines, stumbling on exams, and racking my brain on mathematics. We are too busy with our own lives that we tend to neglect what is occurring in our country. Have we lost touch to connect with our nation? Have we been chasing more on ourselves rather than chasing the reality that the country is currently in deep nuisance? .
We are people. People are part of a state. A state won't be a state without the people. In short, the state depends on us. Take a look at the status of Philippines. Problems are more visible than achievements. Public officials are degraded of their capabilities. Living on a dictum: no money, no life. Now tell me, do these impasse run across our thoughts even for a minute? Or are we out of stock to even consider them?.
Am I right to blame it all to those whom we put in power? Politicians I may say. Then what's the use of Cicero's thoughts on fortitude? He defined fortitude, as a virtue contending for justice and honesty must possessed by the officers. Two percepts of Plato should these politicians partake; to make the safety and interest of their citizens and to take care of the whole collective body. Did we meet all these gratifications? Some may have been and more may have not. Would you agree with me if I say politicians today has greater interest in desire for power and wealth rather than the concern for the well-being of the like? Mind you I do not speak for all. I do not judge for I have no right to. What I want is for them to act what they should act. We do not put someone in that position for nothing. We expect results productive results.
Have you seen the connection yet? We chase, we stumble, we rack for matters that are out of our reach. Decisions on choosing the right ones are very necessary to create an atmosphere of what we expected to have.
