The second house we got to was creepy looking. It had a massive oak tree in front of it that shaded the house from the moonlight. We all sat in the jeep staring at this enormous abandoned structure. .
"Maybe this isn't such a good idea." Ashley said. .
I had to agree with her on that one. .
"Yea, this looks way to much like the movies I watch where the teens get picked off one by one." I said. .
"Alright, alright. Therefore, we will not go in. Now where are we supposed to go?" Cory asked with a frustrated look on his face. .
"I know one last place that should be pretty scary or at least fun." Ashley quickly added, trying to get the guys minds off going into the one, we were at. .
The third house was an old farmhouse way out on a curvy road that eventually leads to Summerlin. We pulled up to the house and could hardly see what it looked like through the moon light. Scott got out his flashlight and slowly shined it on the structure. It was not very big; it had two stories and a stone chimney on the side. The siding was Scott of rotted boards that looked like they had been there for a really long time and there was a sign attached to one of them, it said "NO TRESPASSING." Being the curious individuals that we were, decided to go on anyways. However, before we went in Ashley shared with us the shocking rumors that the house has been known for. .
"Ok, the story is that there has been a crazy hermit guy living here who has stored all kinds of government documents in one of the upstairs bedrooms. The mirror in the other bedroom rocks back and forth on its hinges without anybody touching it." .
After hearing, the house's claim to fame we started to walk in. We Scott up an order that we would walk in so Ashley and I would not get scared of being picked off by some ghostly image we had built up in our minds. Cory decided this order to please both Ashley and me. .
"Alright I will walk in front and carry a flashlight. Ashley you walk behind me, then you Brooke, and Scott will walk in the back with the other flashlight.
