College

             Throughout my development of becoming an intelligent young man, I have always dreamed and wanted to be enrolled into college. I have always believed that college life was the period of time in which an individual grows the most. I have always believed that during college years is when an individual really "finds oneself." During this period a person could change completely. Change from being a young adult into becoming a full grown adult. I have always thought of college years as being an introduction to real life.
             The reason why I believe so strongly in the importance of college is because of older relatives and friends that went to college and their outcome. I compare my future goals to their present day lifestyle and it doesn't seem that much different from mine. As on the other if compared to a person who didn't go to college. I feel very deeply about the importance of going to college and receiving a "higher learning" to prepare me for my life long goals. .
             The best ability that I believe I have is that once I contain a small interest of something I tend to make greatness out of it. Starting from my early childhood it has always been preached to me to try to be the best of what ever interests me and that the more effort I put into something the greater I will become at it. I feel that effort and hard work is what really get things done. An example of this would be immigrants coming to the United States and working in underpaid, hazardous conditions such as in a sweatshops, slaughter houses, and industrial factories. As horrible as these conditions of jobs are hundreds of thousands of immigrants in the United States do them. Unbelievably these immigrants are the backbone of a the United States due to their effort of wanting a better life and wanting to succeed. Simply because the United States would not be the super power it is today with this type of effort.
             My long term goal is to have a career in politics.
