Much Ado About Nothing

?Much Ado About Nothing? says it all; the name really fits! The soul purpose for the play is merely entertainment. It has no real meaning. The one good thing about this play is that the acting was splendid! .
This play was about a huge love triangle that involves 4 people. Sound confusing? Well that is pretty much what it was! It stared out that the man male actor Claudio wanted to marry Hero (the main female actor). Claudio's confidant Benedict was 100% against the whole idea of marriage and women in general. Ironically Hero's cousin Beatrice felt the same about men. They both felt that getting involved in the opposite sex was a great sign of weakness. .
Throughout the play the guys convince Benedict that Beatrice is in love with him and the girls convince Beatrice that Benedict is in love with her. This causes both of them to begin to show interest in the other and eventually fall in love. .
During this time Claudio's brother and a few others who oppose of the marriage set it up to look like that Hero is having sex with another man the night before their wedding and let Claudio look in her window and see what is happening. It was all a big scam and the next day when Claudio was to say I do he brought it out to shame her in front of her whole family. Hero became very depressed and convinced her dad that she really didn't do it. So he came up with a plan. .
Hero's father said that she had died from a broken heart and told Claudio that in order to spare his on life he had to give her a funeral service, and if he did this then he could marry his niece that was as fare of a lady as Hero. So he did and the next day when he went to marry the niece and he lifted the vial it was Hero! They were married at last. .
Meanwhile when Benedict and Beatrice confront each other about their love for each other they discover that not only was it all setup, but also that they had really begun to love each other.
