Electrical engineering

Electrical engineering deals with the development, and production, and testing of electrical and electronic devices and equipment. The main task of electrical engineers is to design equipment to produce and distribute electric power. The equipment associated with electrical engineers are generators ran by water power, coal, oil, and nuclear fuels, transmission lines, and transformers. .
Electrical engineers also design and develop electric motors and other electrical machinery, including ignition systems used in automobiles, aircraft, and other engines. They also work to improve devices such as air conditioners, food processors, and vacuum cleaners. Electrical engineers play a vital role in the production of communications, satellites, computers, industrial robots, medical and scientific instruments, missile control systems, radio, radar, and television sets. Engineers in the electronic field develop master plans for the parts and connections of miniature integrated circuits that control electric signals in most electronic devices. Many engineers jobs are to design, build, and perform complex computer systems to perform particular tasks. Telecommunication a part of the field that deals with the transmission of messages over long distances, is another specialty of electrical engineering . For people considering a career in engineering the most important subjects to take in high school are mathematics, and science. The mathematics courses should cover algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and introductory to calculus. Two of the important sciences that should be taken include chemistry and physics. Helpful electives that could be used include biology, foreign languages, economics, history, and other social studies courses, and composition and public speaking. Most students who enter the engineering professions complete a four- year bachelors degree program at a college or university.
