No one really knows where. Some say either to England, Glastonbury, and Pyrenees. Once settled down in his new home, he built a castle to keep the grail in. From then on Joseph and his descendants guarded the Holy Grail until a mystic knight from King Arthur's court went on a quest to find the ancient grail.
This starts a new legend of the knight's of the round table searching for the grail. This legend has often been depicted in movies and in many different stories. It involves many adventures of danger and excitement.
For a very long time the seat at King Arthur's round table that was labeled "Siege Perilous" remained empty. For if any knight thinks he is worthy enough to sit in this seat and sits in it, he will die. Unless of course, he is the one knight that is worthy enough to sit in the seat. Mysteriously one morning, when Arthur, Guinevere, and the knight's of the round table went to go to sit around it, strange writing written in gold lettering seemed to have been recently written around the seat of "Siege Perilous". It said, "He ought to sit here", and a different one stated that the seat would soon be filled.
Later on that night, while the knights were sitting down to eat their dinner, a squire came to the knight's dinning area and surprised the knights by announcing that there was a large block of red marble floating down the river. As the knights came out to see this wonder, they noticed that there was an extravagant sword that had beautiful jewels studded into it, stuck into the large marble block. There was also writing on the sword that said, "Never shall a man take me hence but only he by whose side I ought to hang and he shall be the best knight of the world." Since at the time Sir Lancelot Du Lake was the best knight of the world, everyone assumed that the sword was meant for him. Lancelot knew the sword did not belong to him, so he did not try to pull it out of the stone.
