            Science and Tech 11 Unit 1 (Computer Essay).
             My opinion about computers is that there are so many possibilities but also there are several problems. They make our homes more secure our cars more safe and our lives more fun. There is always the looming possibility that a computer hacker will steal your identity or bank number or even money. Viruses are a big thing they can destroy the computer and also let sensitive information to outside people.
             Computers in the work place is one of the best uses of computers they use them for typing or programs that can speed up how much work you can do and the quality of the work increases. With computers in work it makes it much easer to talk with consumers and fellow employees or convey product / service specs. Computers also help in protecting the building from possible fires and intrusions. Computers in the work place also help by sending information to other stores and inquiring about products and contact affiliates in another country. Also in the work place computers are more vulnerable to attacks and viruses. .
             Computers in school make kids more computer literate plus they convey more information to the user than a text book. The help by finding pictures for big projects and makes them look nicer. But the down side to having computers in schools is kids get off track when playing with computers. Using computers is also good for the kids that aren't the best writers in the world. Plagiarism is a big con to having computers in schools. Computers help by making short cuts to edit ting spelling. They help make getting information to the rest of the world much faster. A problem that almost all schools are having is that aren't enough funds to have a "up to date" computer lab or not enough computers. Internet, permitting students and teachers alike to communicate with people from around the world via electronic e-mails.
             Perhaps the most important recognition is that these new ways of obtaining and presenting information have given students powerful new ways of analyzing and understanding the world around them.
