room manage

Before the meeting I went through the information sheet and highlighted all of the significant parts. Jean's position is geared towards being stomped on by Karen. Due to this immature living style, Jean is not comfortable talking to Karen and this causes the situation to become more confusing. Karen takes care of paying the bills up front and then we pay her. During the last couple months of spring Jean avoided Karen and her arrogant behavior as much as possible and when it came to storing her futon, books, and large framed picture you talked directly to the landlord. Upon coming to pick up her stuff Jean notices a note to see Karen. Our discussion started when she asked me for $100 for the phone bill that I thought I paid. This lead to an argument and since the bill was not visible this issue was thrown aside to deal with later. The next issue was the shady futon being in the place of my new one. Karen didn't argue much about this because she said she turned down the new roommate when she wanted to have it. This eased the tension a little, and an agreement to get my futon back from the room was made. The glass covering which was broken tightened up the argument because neither her nor I could prove anything or had circumstantial evidence pointing any direction. The same went wither her quilt she thought I had stolen. After a heated debate over who was right, we calmed and she said that she was sorry for blaming the quilt on me and will look further into the other possibilities. Since I told Karen that I had permission to use the storage from the landlord her fee of $70 was cancelled and her apology was accepted. Since we figured out the real facts to the problem we reached an agreement we were both pleased with. We said that since there is no proof of me paying the bill of $100 for the phone and there is no proof of how my glass frame was broke which costs $100 we are just going to call it even.
