             As I reflect back on my many years at Loy Norrix high school I have many memories. Some are in high spirits, others disappointing. Few are devastating, and many remarkable. The inclusions that I have selected to prove myself an effective communicator, an effective problem solver, a healthy, skilled, knowledgeable person, and a contributing citizen reflect all of my most remarkable accomplishments. To some, they may not be special. Today, my goal is to share each experience with you in a way you will understand why I selected the inclusions you see before you.
             An effective communicator must be able to write clearly and effectively in a variety of ways. Not only does an effective communicator have to demonstrate skills in written form but also in oral situations. Through English classes and personal reading experiences I have gained an appreciation for literature and have been able to relate to each experience by responding with understanding, sensitivity, and insight. .
             An effective problem solver must be able to demonstrate that they are familiar with the problem solving method and can accurately use it. I have successfully used the problem solving method. Problem solver through my ability to solve problems accurately using critical and analytical processes. Each question requires many steps, which, if not done accurately, will lead to defeat.
             In English 102 at the beginning of the year students were asked to write an essay stating their goals for the 2002/2003 school year, and also for the future. These essays were sealed in envelopes and handed back to us as part of our final. I feel that my essay and response proves me to be an effective problem solver through my efforts to achieve each goal, and strategies taken to do so. Each goal was fulfilled.
