All Eyes On Me


His loneliness began to tear him apart, and that lead him to begin writing love songs, and poetry. He wanted to become an actor. Acting helped him escape his miserable life. So his mother enrolled him in the 127th Street Ensemble, a group in the Harlem part of New York, where he got his first part at the age of twelve. At the age of fifteen Tupac and his mother moved to Baltimore. While living in Baltimore he fell into rap. He began to write lyrics, and walking with a swagger. Also while living in Baltimore he enrolled in the Baltimore School for the Arts, where he learned how to act, and learned ballet.
             By the time he was twenty he had been arrested eight times. He even spent eight months in prison after being convicted of sexual abuse. In addition, he was a suspect in two wrongful-death law suits, one involving a six year old boy who was killed after getting caught in a gang war between Tupac's gang and a rival group. But later on Tupac disassembled his gang.
             In the late eighties, Tupac got together with an underground rap artist named Humpty-Hump and as well as other rappers from Oakland to make Digital Underground. In 1990 they released there debut, and best album "Sex Packets". Then later on 1992 he got out of Digital Underground, and made is sole debut "2Pacalypse Now", this album really got Tupac noticed in the music industry. Also in that same year he starred in the movie "Juice". Then in 1993 he recorded and released "Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z", an album that got Tupac to cross over the pop charts. But along with these successes, Tupac began to get into trouble with the police once again, when he was accused of a violent attack on an off-duty police officer. Then in that same year he released another movie, "Poetic Justice" with Janet Jackson, as a single father.
             In November of 1994, he was shot five times during a robbery in which thieves made off with $40,000 worth of jewelry. Tupac recovered incredibly from his injuries, and then he made his best albums yet, including "Me Against the World", which sold 2 million copies, and the double-CD "All Eyes on Me" which sold nearly 3 million copies.
