• I would like to live in Oatley which is in Sydney's St. I would like to live there because it is a very quiet suburb with lots of trees and bushy areas. The area seems to be a friendly sort of suburb. I also currently live quite close and have friends which live in Oatley so I am quite convinced that it is a nice place judging from what I have seen and heard. Due to the fact that a small place like Oatley has less traffic and less people passing by you obviously have significant benefits such as less pollution and a better looking suburb in general. .
• Some nearby suburbs of Oatley are Lugarno, Mortdale, Peakhurst, Riverwood and Penshurst. There is one major road running into Oatley which is called Hillcrest avenue. This street links Oatley to Hurstville Grove (the quieter section of Hurstville) and then eventually to Hurstville. Another main road links onto where Hillcrest Avenue finishes and takes you through to Peakhurst and Riverwood.
Suburb I would not like to live in.
• I would not like to live in the suburb of Hurstville. I do not like all the apartment buildings which have risen in the last few years. Hurstville which used to be a more quiet kind of suburb has now become a second city. Due to the Westfield which was established in the early 1980's has made Hurstville a much busier place. Roughly five new high-rise apartment buildings have added to Hurstville's busy nature. Hurstville's population according to the census of 2001 now has a population of over 70,000 people. I would prefer to live in a quiet smaller suburb away from all the hustle and bustle the city style life. Even though a place like Oatley might be further away from the city I would prefer to live.
• Some nearby suburbs of Hurstville are Bexley, Kingsgrove and Banksia. The nearby suburbs of Hurstville are all pretty busy suburbs as well, there are a lot of main roads which run through them such as Forest road, King Georges road and the Princes Highway.
