             Kennedy was known as the peoples president. The assassination of him had a huge impact on the United States. Including many theories of how he was assassinated. .
             John F. Kennedy came from a pretty large family. His brother Robert, his father and his wife, Jackie were the ones that played a big part in his life. Robert served as his Attorney General during his term in office. His wife, Jackie also played a big role in politics as well.
             Kennedy was always into politics, debating and loved to hear the news of the world. He enlisted into the Navy after he graduated from Harvard. He became skipper of a PT boat that was sunk in the Pacific by a Japanese destroyer. Although given up for lost, he swam to a safe island, towing an injured enlisted man. After recovering from a war aggravated spinal injury, Kennedy entered politics in 1946 and was elected to Congress. In 1952, he ran against Senator Henry Cabot Lodge, Jr., of Massachusetts. Sure enough John C. Kennedy was elected our 35th president.
             Now Kennedy was in office. The people loved him. He was starting out great. Kennedys first major disaster in office was called The Bay of Pigs.(source 3) It was really just, the CIA were planning on an invasion on Cuba during Eisenhower's term. Some things got screwed up, and so Fidel Castro wanted Kennedy dead. Another problem that went on in office for Kennedy was the Vietnam War. In 1962 President Kennedy sent troops into Vietnam. 1600 of those troops were airlifted over.
             The Vietnam war was the start of a new era. Probably the biggest problem Kennedy had was with his family. Number one being his father. John F. Kennedy was very close to his father Jack. While John was in office, his father suffered form a very harsh stroke. Then a very tragic incident happened in his life. His son Patrick had died at Birth.(source 4).
             On November 22, 1963 John F. Kennedy and his wife Jackie, after trying not to go , had to fly to Dallas, Texas to speak for the preliminary race.
