            Spain is a country that holds a rich heritage and uniqueness. Spain is located in the southwestern Europe, bordering it are the Bay of Biscay, the Mediterranean Sea, the Northern Atlantic Ocean, and the Pyrenees Mountains, southwest of France.
             The estimated population of Spain is 40,037,995. The largest city in Spain, which is also the countries capital, Madrid has a population of the city alone of 5,050,000. Some of the other larger cities in Spain are Barcelona, (which has a est. population of 1,630,867) Valencia,( which .

             In the 15th century the year 1469 the marriage of Ferdinand II and Isabella I took the Muslims out of Spain, and the religion to be practiced was Roman Catholicism, and to this day that is where the religion stands. The Jews were expelled from Spain in the year 1492, and the Muslims in 1502. Spain became very wealthy by taking over countries such as the conquest of Peru and Mexico by Pizzaro and Cortez.
             The monetary units that are used in Spain are the peseta and euro. .
             Some of the different languages that are spoken in Spain are Spanish, (which is 74%) Catalan, (which is 17%) Galician (which is 7%) and Basque. (which is 2%).
             The Education in Spain is Pretty much the same as in the United States depending on the school. Some schools let out early for a siesta which is a afternoon nap, and then they resume session. They will get out early and then they will have a few more hours of school.
