             ARC is a company deal with import and export of electrical and electronic devices in Greece. Devices such as computers (laptops and desktops), peripherals. Electrical devices like Televisions, Stereos and HI-FI e.t.c. Like all the other companies it holds personal data in computers. So as we can consider the use of computers in this particular company is very high. They need the computers for everything in order to keep record and keep track of every ámovement
             • that the company made or will going to make. They keep track of all exports and imports of the electronic devices. Also they keep a record for all the devices that they have in stock in the warehouse in order to make new orders. They keep records for every employee details and the salary of everyone in the company. Also the financial system of the company keep records of the profits for every day, month and for every year.
             The ARC has three main offices-systems. The Financial System, the Import-Export System, and Stock System. All those systems are linked together in order to have a co-operation. Only the Director and the Data Manager has access to all the systems in order to get informed for everything in the company. As a company ARC has a very secure network of computers but as we all know nothing is unbreakable. So as a Data Manager of the company I have made a guide for all the employees dealing with data and IT in order to inform them for the data protection law, freedom of information law, and computer misuse law. .

             The Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides clear statutory rights for those requesting information together with a strong enforcement regime. Under the terms of the Act, any member of the public will be able to apply for access to information held by bodies across the public sector.
