The population of Ireland is 3,863,000. The population density of Ireland is 131 people per sq. mile. The Irish use a money currency different from the United States. They use the Irish pound. The Exchange in1996 is the Irish pound per U.S dollar is 0.6432. The GDP per capita is 18,600. The Irish flag consistence of three equal rectangles colored in three different colors. Starting from the left the first block is colored green, then white in the middle, and orange all the way to the right. .

             Ireland's Physical Geography:.
             The climate of Ireland is mild in the winter, and cool summers. In the winter of 1997 the average temperature in the winter was 41*F, and in the summer it was around 59*F. The topography in Ireland is mostly level to rolling plains surrounded by rugged hills and low mountains to sea cliffs on the west coast. There are many rivers in Ireland here are some; there is the Shannon and the Erne. .

             The Irish mostly practice two religions Roman Catholic 93% and Anglican 3%. The Irish play some sports like Hurling and, Steeplechasing. Hurling is game played with a ball called a slitter. The objective is to hurl it into the person(s) goal. Steeplechasing is a horse race that that involves jumping over obstacles such as hedgers, ditches, and walls. Some Irish foods are Potatoes, Poultry, and Dairy. The Irish speck a language called Anglo- Irish. .
             Major Economic Activity:.
             Some Exports are Food Processing, textiles, chemicals, brewing, machinery, and tourism. Some Imports are machinery and transporting equipment. That is my report on Ireland!.
