Senior Project

            I plan to job shadow for my senior project. I chose to do this because it will help give me an idea of how the real world works and what to expect from a job. This is a wonderful opportunity to help show me how working will be outside of school and to give me an idea of what I want to do when I get older.
             I plan to present my project using a power point presentation. With this presentation I hope to use pictures of what I did and a complete essay of what I learned and gained from this experience. .
             I plan on job shadowing an architect from Douglas Janzen Architects. Being able to job shadow an architect will help me understand what goes into that job and understand more of what they actually do. I plan to spend at least one full working day with my job shadow person at there work and fully learn and understand there job. I plan on contacting this individual through acquaintances and calling them personally to set up and specific day and time to job shadow.
             I plan to job shadow for at least one full 8-5 day and then maybe another half day after that. In this time that I spend with the person I hope that I can learn something. I hope that this person will teach me something and maybe I will become interested in this profession. I hope to spend most days after school putting together my power point presentation. I believe this project can be done in a minimum of 2 weeks.
             Hopefully with all the time and effort I put in I can learn to appreciate the job of an architect and learn all about the working world.
