It is a garment which is usually 5 to 6 meters in length. By end of my speech you will learn that the ready to wear sari can be worn like any other dress you wear.              Saris are worn in different styles by different castes of people in the different region of India. Women in the region of North India tuck their sari from back, so then can walk with comfortably. So their saris are longer than normal saris. Middle Indian women wear their pallav in the front side covering the top. Some women cover their head with pallav according to the custom in which they are suppose to cover their head. Fisher women in India wear tie up top and shorter saris. South Indian women wear their pallav on the back side, over the shoulder. It is the most popular and most used style of sari in India. You can see that Indian dresses greatly influenced by their background and culture.
             I know you guys must be wondering that how can one turn this 5 to 6 meters length of fabric into the most fashionable and erotic women's garment. If you are still guessing, it is just the drape. Sari can be worn in few easy steps. First you need two essential accessories. One is a matching top which ends just below the bust and is short sleeved or sleeveless. It is called blouse and another is a skirt that is ankle length called petticoat. It needs to be tight enough so that sari does not slip. To wear sari first take the inner edge of the sari and tuck it into the skirt and pass it around to the front of the skirt. Secondly, beginning from the tucked in end start making pleats in the sari about five inches deep. Make about 7 to 10 pleats and hold them up together so that they fall straight and even.
