1. Fahrenheit 451 By Ray Bradbury
... see her house and belongings in ruins. But I thought that the disappearance of both characters was a lack of detail that the book could have easily covered. I really didn't understand the 451 part in the title. I suppose that this is because the temperature of a fire is 451 degrees Fahrenheit. In my personal opinion I think the title "The Fire Man" made more sense than "Fahrenheit ... 451" because the book is about a fireman and not about fire. I would be interested to know why Ray Bradbuy changed the title. Another thing ... that surprised me was that this book was written in the 1950...
