He believes that the current people who are living and running society, are blinded by their idea of what is right, and have no will to change their views. It's ...

If love is true, then both partners will stay true. Love is secure and constant; it will never change over time. It can guide you when you feel lost. If you feel that your love has gone astray, follow your heart; if it is meant to be, it will find a way back. Although no one can understand it, everyone goes the distance for love. In the essay "The Jacket" by Gary Soto, the author is trying to illustrate what a son would do for his family. There are many examples throughout the essay that prove this point. In the story there was a young boy who had asked his mother for a leather jacket, because he wanted to fit in with the other kids. His mom had gotten him a green jacket that was too big for him. Although he didn't like it, he still dealt with it. He had to wear it for three years. He still showed his mom that he appreciated it by saying thank you to her. Restoration Drama In my opinion the restoration of the "Last Supper" by Leonardo De Vinci was necessary to salvage at least part of Leonardo's original work. I have always appreciated the character that years of patina add to furniture and probably would have appreciated the same in the "Last Supper". If I were to have seen it prior to it's restoration and was unaware of all the previous attempts I would have felt they should have left it alone and would have thought the restoration was too much. Keeping in mind that Barcilon did uncover some of Leonardo's original work was worth the restorati...

In the short story "The Enduring Chill" by Flannery O"Connor there is a very strong relationship between mother and son. Asbury, the son, is a college student who constantly comes home to see his mother because he is not feeling well. The protagonist, Asbury Fox, is obviously at absolute dependence to his mother. He is maternally dependant and has no sense of self. A reason this might be is because of the absence of his father. He is an angry teen that is bottled up, trying to grow up, yet is still very depending on his mother. Not having that fatherly figure in his life has made him angry tow...

The Pine Barrens John Mcphee's "The Pine Barrens" is a unique descriptive novel, the novel deals with nature and all it's beauty.
