Based off of this fact the lack of nutrients is detrimental to Native Americans of all ages because if there is a lack nutrients no matter what age they are it will infect them and a short amount of time. Finally, with a low income rate a family can afford all of the necessities such as, food, water, clothing, and vitamins. the reason all these things are important is because if a child has all these things they most likely are a very healthy child, this is very good because if there is a virus going around they will be less susceptible to it because of the vitamins they take and the strength of their immune system. Based off of these fact people can conclude that the living conditions in a Native American community are not very high or good. In conclusion, there needs to be a change to the Native Americans living conditions situation otherwise in could be detrimental to their survival. .
Another problem Native Americans, especially the young ones, is the expectations of the community if someone were to leave the rez. To begin the expectations of a family for the child(s) is tremendous because the children are away and don't have any friends where they are going. This is important because it goes to show that not enough students that have the potential to be incredibly smart are taking a chance but instead they just staying on the rez, an example of this is in P.T.I when Junior first starts to go to Reardan because he didn't know anyone and he had the potential to become something greater (which he did). based off of these fact to many young and smart Native Americans don't want to leave the rez because they might be able to handle the pressure or the extreme change from what they're used to. In addition this is a significant problem because it goes to show that the younger Native Americans are not getting enough support as it is. The reason why this matters so much is because in MHDAI the article goes over how teenage Native Americans have a very high suicide rate.
