Planned Parenthood Research Paper

Hours of footage from an organization unknown. Scenes from undercover cameras that show doctors and staff people selling the body parts of fetus' they remove during abortions. An act that is illegal and punishable by very large fines. It became the thesis of a very heated argument over the legitimacy of an organization called Planned Parenthood. Those were their doctors and staff in the videos. Planned Parenthood is a government funded company that provides health services to those who, for a multitude of reasons like extreme family circumstances, a lack of money, etc., and cannot receive them. One of the services that Planned Parenthood offers is abortions. Due to the fact that it is government funded, when these videos came out many people who were against abortions in the first place, argued for the defunding of the organization because they didn't want their money being used to pay for something they don't support. Their executives vehemently denied the accusations being thrown around about their practices. But those who were against Planned Parenthood are trying to use these falsehoods as basis to defund Planned Parenthood, and in turn all the services they offer. Planned Parenthood offers many more services besides abortions, so Republicans sideways tactics to defunding it would be detrimental to the health of many people across the United States, by focusing on body parts and not the low-income men and women who really need their services. .
