Cloning

Cloning is a new concept in our world. Cloning wasn't known much until the first cloned mammal, a sheep named "Dolly," was successfully cloned and lived. Dolly stayed alive a while till she died of an infection said to be un-related to the cloning. Cloning is "the process of making a genetically identical organism through nonsexual means." Identical twins are similar to cloning. Identical twins are made from one cell, which split into two identical cells. The twins have all the same DNA and physical features", however, they will not think and act exactly the same. The environment and surroundings of the clones shape their mental thoughts and knowledge. Cloning has many positive aspects. Cloning can: revive endangered animals, produce healthy crops all the time, and cure diseases like breast cancer.
The information on the website could be considered reliable for many reasons. This website does not specialize in cloning. The author based his writing not an opinion point of view, rather, the article is based on an informative point of view. The author of the article also has a legitimate name, which states he has a Ph.D. in science and can be contacted. The fourth reason that this article can be reliable, is that the website it is posted on, is acknowledged by many doctors and highly respected scientists.
The information I gathered on the website could be questionable or bias. The site doesn't show who owns the site. The articles on the site are written based upon one point of view. I specifically am writing on cloning, which describes cloning in a positive manner. However, many people have negative attitudes towards cloning. The website also leans away from human cloning. They don't address the issues, which come along with cloning humans. In addition, they don't describe what could go wrong if humans are cloned.
