Sad Christmas

This story had take place last year. On the last day before Christmas, My mother and I hurried to go to the supermarket to buy the remaining gifts that I didn't manage to buy earlier. When I saw all the people there, I started to complain to myself that this will take forever and I still have so many other things to do. Christmas really getting more and more annoying every years. How I wish I could just lie down and go to sleep and only wake up after Christmas.
When I made my way to the toy section looking for something to give to my niece and nephew. While looking in the toys section, I noticed a small boy about five years old pressing a doll against his chest. He kept on touching the hair of the doll and looked so sad. I wondered to myself why a boy that was so young and looked so sad. Then the little boy turned to his grandmother and asked if he have enough money. His grandmother shock her head but she suggested to give him the money. He rejected her and said, "It won't have meaning if you buy it for me." It was very amazing how a little boy would think that way. He same to act and think more mature than must of the kids I know. His grandmother left the section but he want to stay there for a little bit more. He still holding the doll in his hand like he never want to let it go. I decided to walk towards him and asked him who he wanted to give this doll for. He answered in a very quiet voice that the doll is for his sister. She was so sure that Santa Claus will bring it to her.
I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus will bring it to her after all but he replied to me very sadly "No, Santa Claus cannot bring it to her where she is now." I have to give the doll to my mother so that she can give it to her when she goes there." His eyes were full off tears when he said that. He said his sister had to go and see god but why didn't she take me with her.
