Organizational Behavior

            
             In the course of life, many things happen to us that shape the way we are, and how we react to future endeavors. It is natural for us to react to the stimulus that surrounds us, but how we react depends on the results of previous events and their outcome. In business it is the same way. The course of our work depends on the risks we are willing to take based upon the decisions that have been formed from previous events. The objective of this paper is to define the factors that cause us to make decisions and how we react to events that occur around us in the business environment.
             Organizational Behavior.
             In the world, no two people are exactly the same. Because of this, every situation in the business environment must be closely examined to determine the cause and effect of decisions that are made. Factors that determine the outcome of decisions that are made are based upon a study in human behavior known as Organizational Behavior. Organizational Behavior focuses on ways that people react to the stimulus that is provided in the working environment. Through the results of these studies, business practices can be changed and organized in a manner that allows increased productivity. Organizational Behavior however is not an exact science in black and white. Timing and the events of the world can make a good decision today a very poor decision tomorrow. Organizational Behavior differs also from country to country. Conclusions founded on studies given in the United States may work very well in other industrious countries with the same work ethic, but may fail in other countries where economic depression and social deprivations exist. History has shown that changes in the way we work affect the behaviors that we have at work. Inventions that change the way work is performed require that we make changes to behaviors in the work place. With the recent insertion of computers and the Internet into the workplace, changes in policy and regulations change also.
