Her jeans brushed the cold concrete, scuffed running shoes slipped along the oiled wet road. Her face was wet from tears that were running down her face. "I knew I shouldn't have done it, mum will never accept me at home ever again I"m such a fool." She muttered to herself. Yet again, Alexis had done something wrong and run away from her punishment, but this time it went terribly wrong. It had been two weeks since the squabble and she had not returned home. She still roamed the streets somewhere in the heart of Steinberg. Back home, her mother was panicking "OH MY GOD WHERE IS ALEXIS I KNEW I SHOULDN"T HAVE PUNISHED HER BUT IT IS WHAT MOTHERS DO!" cried her mum. She had searched everywhere the state forest, the local church, her bedroom, and all the other places children go when they run away. Still Alexis did not return home.
I"ll take you back to the very beginning, there was the biggest party ever at school and as usual mum wouldn't let me go, so I cam up with a plan. I asked mum if I could go to the corner store to but some things for school and then I caught up with some friends that were going and told them to meet me at my bedroom window at 7pm. At dinner I brought up the topic about the party and mum still said NO! So I argued the point about my age and that I should be able to do things outside her sight and with that I stormed to my room and my door slammed hard against the wooden frame.
Changing my clothes and getting out my bedroom window I crept and made my way to the party, when I got there my best friends boyfriend was waiting for us with his friends. We had the best time until the party had come to an end. I"d got to my window and noticed that my bedroom light was off, I could have sworn I left it on Alexis thought but still she continued until she had shut her window and her mum came out from behind her and that's when it all happened. There was a bit fight and Alexis let out an ear piercing scream and said that she is going to run away and never come home again to this stupid dump.
