            Bed and Breakfast New Product Pricing Strategies.
            
             Zagat Survey as expanded its company into many different directions. They have ventured into golf, movies, hotels, airlines, car rentals and nightlife. We thought with the success of all of these different business" why not try offering a guide about Bed and Breakfasts.
             Realizing the demand is probably a lot higher in the northeast we will offer an "All New England" Bed and Breakfast Guide. We will plan to test the market with a low initial price for each guide. .
             There is no competition within this field so we want to penetrate the market quickly allowing for a high volume in sales and to win a large market share. Once we have succeeded in winning the majority we will be able to lower our prices even farther.
             We will be selling high quality and accurate guides informing people which Bed and Breakfast establishments are available. Including items such as price, food quality and attractions in the near by area. This guide will be a little more extensive then the ones we have available now but we are hoping for a large demand not only in New England but also eventually in all parts of the United States.
             Thinking strategies for critical decisions fortunately has been something I have always tried to do before I make any personal decisions. .
             A good example being the last time I was changing jobs from one Country Club to another. Both offered everything I was looking for, housing, lessons, benefits and playing. Each Club was very recognizable and the people were well respected. .
             With both establishments providing me with everything I wanted to hear during the interview process I decided to take some time to "weigh" my options. What worked for me was the "positive/negative" explanation to each facility. .
             With each job I took a piece of paper and wrote down all the positives side by side and I did the same for the negatives. Finally, I went through all the positives and eliminated the least important items one by one, as well as the negatives.
