This is me

            
             Ever since Florence was a little girl she had resentment towards her brother Gabriel. The favoritism that her mother showed towards him left her with hard feelings. He always got the new clothes, he was the one who got to go to school and while this was happening she had to stay in the house and learn how to be a housewife. Florence showed others love but towards her brother she showed resentment and was determined to knock Gabriel down off his high horse to show him that she was more powerful. .
             Florence's personality is quite interesting she's the controlling type always putting in her opinion and not caring what other people have to say. She's nosy always in everyone's business especially if it involves Gabriel. Sometimes she is a good mediator like in the scene where Roy come home all beat up and Gabriel lost his temper, she was able to sort of calm him down. .
             If I were to be friends with Florence I think it would be somewhat difficult. I"m not loud and controlling but I don't like it when people try to take control of the situation and I see Florence and me always being involved in an argument about what should happen. There would definitely be a contrast in interest. The only thing I think we would both enjoy doing is esdropping in other people busy because I can be very nosy, but I would never interfere like she would do. I do admire her ambition because she is very driven. I think her pride and jealousy are a big part of that. They are both her weakness and her strength, because of her jealousy and resentment towards her brother she will not stop until she sees him lower than her. .
             All her life she felt like she was being held back. Her mother didn't treat her as an equal to her brother and she never understood how he got to do certain things that he didn't even seem interested in. When she got baptized she was calm and respectful because she understood the meaning of what was happening.
