People all over the world want to come here to change their destiny. However, the economy of America is not in a good condition and people who are living here facing many problems. Due to its internal bad economic conditions, government has stricken the rule to come to America. As a result, people are trying many illegal ways to come here. Illegal immigrants are causing so many problems for this country and we have to find solution for both of this country and also for illegal immigrants so that they can live here legally.
The problem with illegal immigrants is not that they are here using our resources. The problem is that they are using our resources without contributing anything. America as a country was completely built on immigrants. There is nothing wrong with the idea of immigration. The problem comes when people do it illegally. They use our hospitals and our schools without paying taxes or getting health insurance. Illegal immigrants are willing to work for lower wages and reduced benefits. In this sense they create competition for the American citizen-worker. As Louella Kelly, 65, of Round Rock, Taxes, says in an article "Poll finds U.S divided on aliens" of BOSTON HERALD dated Monday, April 6, 2006 that "illegal is criminal." She said her sixteen years old granddaughter has had trouble in finding work because jobs were taken by illegal aliens. U.S government should make a law which can provide legal status to the illegal immigrants. .
Although illegal immigrants are taking out so much from economy but they are also helping it to some aspect. According to an article "NYC mayor says immigrants aid US" in THE BOSTON GLOBE by Kimberly Hefling dated Thursday, July 6, 2006, Newyork City mayor says "Although they broke the law by illegally crossing our borders our city's economy would be a shell of itself had they not, and it would collapse if they were deported.
